Depends largely on the site in question, but if you have minimal traffic, and mostly static pages then yes, the lowest Lightsail plan will be plenty. I'd also recommend using a caching plugin like w3 total cache.

Yeah of course ( using EC2 ) , for example i'm running a wordpress ecommerce website with nano instance ( 5$ , without the SSL of course ), and it's working without any problem 🙂
