So basically if the developer wants to start playing with the google AR (Tango) + VR (DayDream) he needs to pay around 650(pixel) + 470(Phab 2) euros to start exploring :S thats not handy at all.

No it didn't go in sale worldwide. It was launched in the US, was unavailable, was there, was sold out. Then nothing happened for 2 weeks. End of November it launched in Europe and yestered (in December) it launched in Japan and was sold out right away.
