Unless terminal operation is called the iteration will not happen. To experience it I created code like this….. plist.stream().filter( (p) -> {System.out.println(p.name); return true;}) ………… It did not print anything. ………… now I added the terminal operation count() and it printed names. you may include this to elaborate. Thanks again for all the videos. Thanks from Kaushik to Koushik 🙂

Thank you so very much for the clarity and simple explanation Koushik. If possible, could you come up with a Java 8 course focusing on Streams, java.util.function APIs, generics in Java8 and Collection API changes(comparing,compartor etc). Keep up the good work.

a very good tutorial. thank you for sharing. I have a question : do you have some best practices to debug lambda code when using collections. what I understood is that we loose control when using parallel processing. thanks.
