isnt the proxy class has been made at line 14 ,?,,, Class c = lambdaGreeting.getClass() ; .. System.out.println(c.getName());

I think in example you should choose different data to print so that…it can clearly differentiate the usage… you have used same data to print which doesn't give clarity… Just a suggestion…

Greeting greeting = new Greeting(){ } // this is an anonymous inner class… Does it also mean that we creating object for interface?

you can never create object for interface …. its the object of proxy class that is made at runtime and that proxy class is implementing ur interface .. U CAN NEVER EVER CREATE OBJECT OF INTERFACE by any mean
