Does spring ignore the "private" keyword on the Topic obects you were returning as JSON? Does it return all data members of the object by default?

I am having trouble in returning JSON data. tried adding maven as well Jackson dependencies but still no luck.Error received: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No converter found for return value of type: class java.util.ArrayListAny help is highly appreciated 🙁

That must be due to the fact that some other application is running on the same port or maybe you re-ran your application when it was already running. If you're on windows just open your command prompt and type in "netstat -ano | findstr :yourPortNumber" then note down the PID and kill it with "TaskKill.exe /PID yourportnumber /F" Then you can re-run your application.
