JAX-RS(Java API for RESTful web services) is a specification to implement RESTful web services. One of the implementation of JAX-RS is Jersey. So it will be more apt to compare Jersey with Spring RESt.Jersey allows u to use annotations like @Path,@GET, @POST, @Produces etc which makes it easier to develop RESTful webservicesWhile Spring is a framework which provides REST capabilities by the Spring MVC module. It can be seen as an alternative to JAX-RS standard.Smilar annotations in Spring includes @RequestMapping, @RequestMapping(method = RequestMethod.GET, value = "/url", produces = MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON) ,etc
