And does 3D printer still in rapidly change or already in mature condition? If I'm a self learner and really into invention, build stuff, DIY, is it time for me to buy a 3D printer now or I should wait another bit of time? I really want a 3D printer won't outdated just within a year like some of previous models, andI… Read more »

I have the original prusa i3 and I think it's ok even though I've had a lot of trouble with it. The print quality is decent but it some times fails badly and also the software glitches sometimes. Also the assembly instructions were really hard to follow because sometimes the guy on the video did it wrong him/herself and it was really annoying. That's why it's really hard to trust this. The wait time on this is crazy! 6-7 weeks! Hope the wait is worth it though. 🙂

Besides the Carbon M1 is there a printer that can use material that can be the final product. Not sure if im asking this question the right way. but i do not just want a brittle weak prototype. I want to be able to make end user products for myself. like a laptop stand or etc.

At this price point the Anet A8 suddenly looks more attractive. At least for someone who's not sure how often he will use it after making a few hardware parts and the odd movie model.
