inkscape has good alignment functions FYI
Link to the contest?
Was that a frog?
Good timing. I just bought a PE-770 too. I played with SewArt, and it was okay but I went another way for digitizing. I am checking out your channel since there aren't really a lot of overly helpful tutorials and I would enjoy another beginner perspective from someone who's figured some of this out.
Glad you've heard of Embird, as I was going to suggest that you check it out.
Add Hatch to that list. It's AMAZING, albeit with a jaw dropping price (in a bad way) to match. Coming from a lot of vector design experience (Inkscape included), there are some things I see that they should all do, but don't, for instance, why can't I import an svg and actually convert vector objects into embroidery objects instead of things being treated as a color map?!? I'm pretty sure all of these programs abstract base level vector objects to do what they do anyway. This is really annoying, but the average hobbyist wouldn't notice.
cool. I did end up buying Sew Art, but I've heard good things about embrilliance and Embird
instructions not clear, got dick stuck in neighbor.
