Tizen is an open source operating system based on Linux that powers more than 50 million Samsung devices around the world, including TVs, wearables, mobile, and many other Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Samsung has released a preview of Visual Studio Tools for Tizen, which will enable .NET developers to build apps for Tizen. This video preview shows you how to get started.

I already develop using Xamarin.Forms and have VS solutions containing projects for Android, iOS, UWP, WinRT, WinPhone 8.1 RT, and WinPhone 8.0 SL. Can I install Visual Studio Tools for Tizen and then add a Tizen project to each of my existing solutions? Are there any potential conflicts that might impact my existing solutions?

Also, is the plan that the Tizen Xamarin.Forms code will be merged into the Xamarin.Forms main branch? Is there a target date for that happening?
