Ehi Maximilian, thanks for your videos and your fantastic work. I'm building a web app and I need to use something more than jquery and javascript, even if I'm pretty good at it, but it's crazy to think that I can make a good app with jquery. What I need the most is the DOM binding feature that enables DOM elements to be "sync" with an object or something else. Anyway, I want to focus on my app and not on selecting, updating and dealing with DOM elements.I need a lightweight alternative to Angular, React, also because and I don't… Read more »

Vue.js sounds like the perfect choice – it's very lightweight (still very powerful though) and much easier to set up and use than Angular 2 for example.

Max, i just cannot make this code work on fiddlejs, did anything in computed: changed on new versions? The code is the same and it doesnt count the counter, just clicks

I solved the issue. You have to delete the code, counter: 0.So, It works for me.

Yea, i did that! You can try it yourself. Asked some people on stacked overflow and they say i should never use anything with the same name as data AND as computed property at the same time, is that correct? After i removed the COUNTER from data it worked!

Make sure to also have a look at my source code (link in video description). Vue.js 2 didn't change, that should still work fine.

Hey Max, how can we use computed properties in list rendering ? For example, in a list of users with first_name and last_name, how can we create a full_name computed property that works with all the users ?

It's simply not the idea behind computed properties 😉

so, computed properties are useless in this cases where input vary ?

Hi Reginaldo, so with v-for you mean? You can basically call a computed property in all places, but if the inputs vary, you may use use a normal method to which you return the inputs and which gives you the finished name (as a return value).
