Hey Quentin, is there a reason my controls look a bit different than yours? for example the image of my video doesn't have a big play button, there's only a bar on the bottom for the controls. Thanks for the awesome videos!!

Yea, that's browser dependent. Every browser has it's own rendering system. If you want it to be the same in every browser, you'll need to build a custom media player, and you'll need to know javascript. Also it'll help to know a server side language as well. Which is why that is not covered in this series.

The browser will not be able to play them. .MP4 is the standard, anything else wont work.

<video src="; type="video/MP4" width="600" height="340" controls muted>When I validate it in that site or Dream Weaver I get Attribute type not allowed on element video at this point.

Question are we going to see how to build a complete website or are you just going through the basics? Nothing will be built out of these tutorials?

I answered that in this announcement.

A website from start to finish will be the next series.

Good video! If you need any copyright free music to use in your videos so you don't get a copyright strike, I have plenty of that over here on my channel. It's all free to download and free to use, if you are interested! Thanks for reading this and have an awesome day 🙂
