i got an error message. it says that "`UnityEngine.Rigidbody2D' does not contain a definition for `Addforce'." thank goodness i found a solution on forums about this problem.for those who had errors using unity 5.1, try using this coderb2d.GetComponent<Rigidbody>().AddForce(new Vector2 (9, upForce));thumbs up for this video 🙂

I was going to say that the problem was caps. Should be AddForce(). Camel case bites every time.

In the Start function you have to write: "rb2d = GetComponent<Rigidbody2D>();" to reference the rigidbody2d component. Then in the Update function you don't need to get the reference, just write: "rb2d.AddForce(new Vector2(0, upforce));"

upForce = 200f;What does it stand for ? I changed the value a lot of times and it doesnt do anything. Can someone give me an explanation. Thank you.

Well it doesn't really matter because the add force is only called once (when the mouse is pressed).
