I wish they would explain the "How we got to the conclusion of doing the code this way" like quill18creates does. Instead of. "We need to move this way, so we will throw this line of code in which determines the speed", but some of the time it does not sound like they understood the code.

Hello, i applied the script in my own project but i run into a probleme the player walks in it's place the animation is playing but he doesnt move (i tested to see if the destinationposition doesnt change but it does and it's different than my player position) i dont know what could be the probleme

The value of turnSpeedThreshold was set to 5f instead of 0.5f. Working now.

why do we keep recreating a float speed variable every frame in Update? Isn't it more efficient to make it class variable?

I think this was refactored code from a few years ago with Mecanim first came out. So, these methods were in a different class where there were two classes one with NavMeshAgent stuff and the other with Animator stuff. My recollection only. If that helps. It really doesn't matter much anyway.

WoW this is madness, all this more than hundred lines of code only for click to move and interactable…..i wonder what will this look like if this will not be made using the Unity (WHICH MADE GAME DEVELOPEMENT EASIER :D)…

I get this error when I try to test at about 44 min in:"SetDestination" can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a NavMesh./opt/Unity/Editor/Unity() [0x16a8d1d]/opt/Unity/Editor/Unity() [0x8f8e13]/opt/Unity/Editor/Unity() [0x8f8f79]I baked the NavMesh, so I'm not sure why I'm getting this error.EDIT: Solved. For anyone else experiencing this issue, make sure to use the scene Player rather than the prefab Player on the event triggers.

that just means there are no folders within your prefabs folder yet
